Keyboard problem

Hello     I have a problem that i'd like to solve but i don't know how. When my program (using svgalib) ends whatever i write doesn't show I have to use restart command. I'm endng my rogram with function keyboard_close and vga_setmode ( TEXT) but it don't solve the proble. Could you help me?                                                             Andrew
