Anyone running on AXP?

Hello,

        I've been without backups for months(!), and I'm desperately trying
to get ftape to compile/work on Linux/AXP.  I'm currently running 2.1.130
on a DEC AlphaStation 200 ("Mustang").  Has anyone out there ever had any
luck of any kind with using a QIC-117 drive on a DEC Alpha under Linux?
Please tell me the secret. :)
