Hi all, I recently compiled ftape 4.02 on my
RH 5.2 Linux box and I'm trying to test/run it
now.

I tried to test it by using the insert script
but I get device busy messages.

So I went on and tried to use the program.

I'm completely lost as to what should be in the
conf.modules entry.

The conf.modules entry I used. Complete guess.
(I don't have a clue to what should be here)
-------------------------------
alias char-major-27 zftape
options ftape ft_fdc_driver=bpck-fdc,none,none,none
options bpck_fdc ft_fdc_base=0x378 ft_fdc_irq=7
-------------------------------

I ran this
-------------------------------
[root@localhost /root]# /usr/local/bin/ftmt -f /dev/nftape rewind
ftape v4.02 08/29/98

ftape_init @ 0x018351e0.
/usr/local/bin/ftmt: /dev/nftape: Operation not supported by device
[root@localhost /root]#

Next I tried

[root@localhost /root]# tar tvf /dev/ftape
