I went ahead and upgraded the X11 interface and I thought maybe the problem had been solved. I ran some test backups from home and things seemed to work ok. I found out one important thing this weekend. If you have an NFS share mounted, but the server is not responding, the backup job that is including remote file systems will not continue until it is available. Anyway, that is a little off the current subject. I am still getting the archive header missing on jobs run from scheduler. What's more, is that it happens intermittently. I ran jobs over the weekend, and they ran good. Monday's job was good. Tuesday's was not. If you will look at the log, you will see that I ran a test job using the very same definition on Sunday at 10:00 pm. That job ran fine. If you notice, the backup size is 1.7gb. The tape has the capacity for 4gb uncompressed and 8gb compressed. Incrementals are not stacked, as this is an HP IDE Tape drive. I do not believe that running out of tape is the issue. Again, any help is appreciated.
