Ditto 2GB - Help Setting Up Please

Hi!!

I'm running Red Hat Linux 5.0 and I have a plain old Ditto 2GB external
tape drive.

Problem is, I've no idea how to use it on linux. There's plenty of
information out there about Ftape but that's only for internal drives
right?

If anyone out there can inform me on how to setup my Ditto drive I'd
really appreciate it.
