5945 IS the drive identifier.

Negative - 1 drive per SC400 card.

Negative.
Plus, at 45-60MB per tape and no method of repair, these things should
really find their way to your local trash heap. A DC600A tape (if you
can locate one) is over US$40. It moves data at a whopping 92K/sec
(5M/min).
