-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- I have been trying different sources to find out exactly what my Conner CTT800E was and why it doesn't work with 'ftape; One of the places I wrote was to the QIC standards web site (http://www.qic.org). The reply from the head fo the driver team at Seagate follows. Unless I am completely missing the point of what was said the CTT800E should work with 'ftape.' I am now back to sqaure one, assuming the response below is correct, what do I need to do to get 'ftape' working with my drive? I tried the Trakker driver and got the errors posted previously. I saw no reference to a 'Shuttle' drive and what I got when I downloaded 'ftape' were 2 drivers (Backpack and Trakker). Am I missing some drivers, losing my mind or is my configuration still messed up? TIA. > >I head up the device driver team at Seagate. This drive is a TR-1 drive >attached to the parallel port (PPT).
