To RedHat 5.x diald users.
I built the diald-0.16.5a.1.i386.rpm rpms for RedHat 5.x a while back.
(last year sometime), which were on contrib.redhat.com.
These disappeared from RedHat's ftp site because diald-0.98-2 rpms
were recently uploaded there.
I see there is now a new diald maintainer - great!
But looking through the list archives, I guess that diald-0.98 isnt
yet fully stable. So I have reposted the diald-0.16.5a rpms with the new name
diald16-0.16.5a-1.i386.rpm etc., so they will be available along with the
diald-0.98 rpms, in case they are wanted before the new diald is fully stable.
diald-0.16.5a (0.16.5, with the missing dctrl race patch from 0.16.4 restored)
has been very stable, in my experience.
The rpms
diald16-0.16.5a-1.i386.rpm
diald16-config-0.16.5a-1.i386.rpm
diald16-0.16.5a-1.src.rpm
have an "Obsoletes: diald" specfile tag, so they will behave as an upgrade or
downgrade to packages named "diald"
I guess they should show up on the redhat ftp site within a day or two?
Looking forward to a stable new diald release,
regards to fellow redhat diald users.
