Trying to kill the keyboard, [EMAIL PROTECTED] produced:

That's an FAQ these days ... maybe it should be posted daily :-)
For kernels 2.2.x you need a newer ftape (some kernel
structures, e.g. timeout changed). Currently all newer ftapes
are found under *un*stable (even if they work quite stable).
