Obviously the interfaces in the kernel changed ... which is to
be expected for bleeding-egde development kernels. (Disallowing
this would force you to use inadequate interfaces, coming from
the beginning of time (or at least the beginning of Linux), just
like Win98 still is a GUI for DOS, running on a hack for 8.3
filenames, etc.)
