I'm trying to get an external parallel port HP Colorado 350 working with
ftape. When doing the . insert, I get the following error.
Can't locate module parport.
I'm using kernel 2.0.36. Is the parport module available for the 2.0.36
kernels, because I thought it was new to the 2.2.x kernels (which I can't
use due to DHCP problems with every dhcpcd client). Where is the parport
option if available?
Also when ./configuring the ftape-doc-1999_03_17, the configure stops when
checking for the sgmlcheck. I'd like to view the documentation without
having to install additional packages.
