Seagate CTT-8000 4Gb/8Gb IDE

Hi,

I have a Seagate CTT-8000 IDE (internal) tape drive which is recognised
as /dev/hdd at boot time.

Where do I find the info to use it? and the tape commands?
I am running SuSE 6.1 with kernel 2.2.5
