Indeed, "No such device" again.
My drive is a Connor C250MQ internal. The lines of /etc/conf.modules:
alias scsi_hostadapter aha152x
alias net-pf-4 off
alias net-pf-5 off

# config ftape 
alias char-major-27 zftape
pre-install ftape /sbin/swapout 5
... [] cut the rest
