None, you cannot mount a tape. There is no file system written on
it because this type of media has no random access. Data is
written in streams of various formats (tar, cpio, ...) that
represent archives (collections) of files.

It depends on the interface technology of your tape drive (IDE/ATA,
SCSI, floppy, ...). If you have the right driver installed tapes
are accessed through devices like any other device. Example:

To use a floppy tape you need ftape installed, then you can access
the type through a device like /dev/qft0 with standard *nix
programs like tar, cpio or taper, BRU, Arkeia, ...
