ftape 4.02 will not compile with 2.2.x kernels (the "unstable" 4.0x
version will).  However, I am running the same drive, accelerator card
and parameters on a Debian 2.2 system with kernel 2.2.10 using the
kernel's ftape-3.04d with no problems at all.  I've done a couple of
backups + verify with tob with good results.
