- Kernel configuration: Ftape support: NO (important)
- download "unstable" drivers from
http://www.math1.rwth-aachen.de/~heine/ftape/archives/ftape-4.x/unstable/
This is necessary under kernels 2.2.x.
- edit MCONFIG
- make
- make install
