I'm running ftape 4.02 with an internal floppy tape drive off of the onboard FDC controller. I can rewind the tape and retension the tape fine using ftmt, but when you try to read or write to the tape (ftformat, ftmt status, &c) it gives these errors: ftape-ctl.c (ftape_get_drive_status_Rfce64bdc) - status: new cartridge. ftape-io.c (ftape_report_operation_R0753d844) - No acknowledge after 300 msec. (95 iter). ftape-io.c (ftape_report_operation_R0753d844) - timeout on Acknowledge. ftape-io.c (ftape_set_data_rate) - Rate change failed!. ftape-io.c (ftape_report_operation_R0753d844) - No acknowledge after 300 msec. (94 iter). ftape-io.c (ftape_report_operation_R0753d844) - timeout on Acknowledge. ftape-ctl.c (ftape_init_drive) - 307 ft.
