The module you need to load is ide-tape.o. RedHat 6.0 installs the 2.2.5-15
kernel which has ide tape support enabled and ide-tape.o module compiled.
The devices you need to use are /dev/ht0 and /dev/nht0 (non-rewinding). I use
a Seagate TapeStor ide tape drive and it works fine.
