Is there any version of tape-tools that will compile and run on the 2.2.9
kernel? I have been seeing messages discussing incompatibilities with
kernels later than 2.2.5, and I have been unable to get any version
(including the latest unstable version, as of the 20th of august) to compile
successfully. I am not including my error messages, first I just want to
know if it should be compiling, or if I am attempting the impossible. I am
using mandrake-linux 6.0 (same as redhat 6.0), with the built in version of
f-tape, 3.04d.
