I'm running kernel 2.2.5-15 from Red Hat and I would like to determine
which version of ftape came with that install but I don't see any info
on the web about how to figure out which version you have.
I will be backing up using a parallel port tape drive and from what I
see on the web I need either ftape 3.04d or 4.03-pre-2 to get good
backups.
If I do have version 4.xx can I uninstall it and then install 3.04d? If
so how? If I can't drop back to 3.04d then I guess I will have to
update to 4.03-pre-2 even though it is still pre-release.
