Hi all,

I did not read your original message. I am using an internal
Ditto 2G for approx. 2 years now.

First I had lot's of trouble with the internal fdc of my Pentium
board (Triton chipset). After buying an additional accelerator
board (ditto dash) problems went away.

Keep in mind, Ditto 2G needs definitely at least data at 1000
Kbps. If your fdc (or ftape) isn't capable of feeding data at
this speed your tape drive won't work!

I am using kernel 2.0.36 with ftape 4.03. I am doing regular
backups with arkeia on my ditto 2G and they run fine. Overall
speed is between 12 and 13 MByte/min.
