Can current versions of ftape read QIC-80 tapes written with ftape-2.x versions? I cannot read mine with the ftape version in kernel-2.2.15 where the readme file suggests that new block formatting could be the problem. There's no point in me upgrading to the latest unstable ftape that everyone is recommending if it wont work. Thanks. John N. Rayner ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
