This drive works - it's not listed because it's ATAPI, not Floppy
based.  Ftape is for (F)loppy (Tape) drives.

The drive will require either the ide-tape drivers or a combination of
the scsi-tape and ide-scsi emulation driveres in your kernel (or as
modules).

As and IDE device, it will be seen as /dev/ht0 or /dev/nht0.  As a SCSI
device, it will be accessed through /dev/st0 or /dev/nst0.
