I am looking for suggestions and assistance in using an AIWA Bolt 20001
SCSI recently
installed on a system with SuSE Linux 6.3, which also has a Windows 95
partition.
The tape works OK from the Windows partition, but so far, I have not
been able to
access it from Linux.
Kernel is 2.2.13, and mt is GNU version 2.4.2
The commands: mt -f /dev/nst0 status
and mt -f /dev/st0
produce the message "no such device".
The module st.o is in /lib/modules/2.2.13/scsi, but lsmod shows a
module st to be
loaded, but not st.o
depmod st.o and insmod st.o give a "no such file.." message.
Suggestions would be appreciated. Jenkins
