I'm trying to use the ftape that comes with the 2.2 kernel (RH 6.1) - I think that's 3.04. Anyone know where I can find a version of ftformat that will work with it. I tried using the source code from a libc5 rpm - it compiled but I couldn't get it to work. I also can't find any documentation anywhere that lists which devices I should use for what. I gather than the n devices don't rewind and that the raw devices are for formatting but otherwise should I be using /dev/qft0, zqft0 or what with my Colorado T3000? -- Bruce "Anyone who hates children and animals can't be all bad." - W.C.
