I have same problem with compilation ftape on kernel 2.2.14.

fdc-io.c:454: structure has no member named `timeout'

make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/ftape-4.02/ftape'
But on follow
link I have not fount solve my problem.
My system: RH6.0, kernel 2.2.14, Conner QIC-80.
If possible, help me.
