Dennis, are you using the internal CTT800, or the parallel port
version? The internal CTT800 works with the current ftape drivers. As
for the parallelport version, it SHOULD work using the bpck-fdc module
in the ftape drivers. Please check out http://www.LinuxTapeCert.org and
click on TechHelp for the latest drivers.
Only issue is that you make sure that the drive is attached to an
accelerator card of some sort to get the true capacities of the drive.
Also, since ATAPI tape drives with 4-20GB capacities are now under $200
and offer massive bounds in performance over that old floppy interface
device, have you considered retiring it?
