Hi,

Setup:

  Red Hat 6.2 w/ 2.2.16-3 kernel
  Iomega Ditto Max
  afbackup-3.2.5pl1

This setup, with worked nicely with ftape-4.x-09_11_1999, fails
with the, newly released, ftape-4.03.

Everything appears ok until the completion of writing a backup and
execution of a "ftmt -f /dev/fqft0 rewind" command.

At this point, log entries of the following form start to appear:

  ftape-rw.c (ftape_start_tape) - panic: location not known.

Thereafter, the tape drive light just blinks and eventually afbackup
mail's the root user saying the tape drive isn't ready.

Has anyone else observed this behaviour?

Regards,
Neil Darlow.
