Hi,
Is the Backpack 800TD supported on the 2.2.x kernels? I downloaded
ftape 4.02 and it failed to compile on 2.2.16. After fixing the compile
problems ftape by backtraking some changed from the 2.2.x kernel ftape
source it still failed to work with the 800TD. Today I finally was able to
get a 2.0.x machine to test with. I successfully compiled ftape and
installed the 4.02 drivers. It worked. My question is if anyone has ported
support for this tape drive (backpack 800TD) to the 2.2.x kernels? I only
need support for this tape drive so if there is any code available to just
patch in support for this drive into the 2.2.x kernels please let me know.
If not please tell me if there is currently any way of getting support for
this tape drive on 2.2.x. Thank you.
