so it seems that the software engineers who hacked IDT and QBackup
were not clever enough to realize that the number of segments between
A and A+B (inclusive) is not B but B+1. Sad.
I try to test some other Windoze software. There is (e.g.) a trial
version of "Backup Exec" by Veritas software. Maybe I find others.
If most programs show that off-by-one bug I'll add it to zftape. Ugly.
