I dont know what to do. I've reinstalled the OS 3
or 4 times. Used two different T3000 tape drives, two different tapes.
Recompiled the kernel about 20 times 18 successfully one forced me to reinstall
because it acted totally jacked up. The only thing I can think of is I have a
new motherboard. It was working fine on the other motherboard. Is there a
setting on the motherboard that can interfere. the tape drive continuously
repositions forever, dmesg reveals 66 repositions and 252 media defects I
CTRL-C'd it to stop at this point.
