What I found was that my usb tuner was overheating, and disabling the mythtv option where it keeps the tuner open all the time fixed the problem. YMMV.

Attached a backend-log with file and DVB options enabled . Recording "WOLKENLOS" didn´t work out - all logging info is there. I use Mythtv on a DVB-C Network from Liwest austria with conax base encryption (Smartcard works fine). Sometimes though (every 3-5 recordings) the recording just is not there. I can´t interpret the log but it looks that mythtv can´t find its own file and some other strange entries.
