Provide you with an updated version of what? What are you removing? Openshot needs version 2.56 or greater of Blender to use the 3D animated titles feature. Previous versions of Blender are not compatible with that feature. But Blender is not a direct dependency of Openshot, it is optional. Openshot will still work without it, albeit without the 3D titles feature.
