This might be related to a bug in MLT that would only allow 10 active instances of libavformat. There is a new release of MLT(0.7.6) that fixes this.

The problem I have is with a PNG's, and I've figured out when it happens... or at least, a time when for me it happens. Weirdly, it only happens on track 10 in the stack? (I have 11 tracks). Doesn't happen with videos on the same track. Anyway, not a vital one, but thought I'd log it here in case anyone else is frustrated at it! I'm using Ubuntu 10.04, and the latest openshot (1.1.3).
