I hesitate to give you like advice to upgrade at the last 0.7.6 of MLT. This serie (i.e. 0.7.x ) brings a lot of regression. MLT seems to not recognize/find the Key image. Is it always when you use all avi and mp4 files or just some files which provides of the device ?
