dragging and dropping doesn't work when dragging a file to the browser and it isn't visible it's impossible to go to the window because unity doesn't enable it for drop

It works fine from nautilus -- drag an image over a compose page and you get a green area to drop it on. Dragging from f-spot fails -- gmail doesn't seem to realise there is anything suitable to drop, so does not create the green drop zone.
