Hello again! I used MLT version 0.7.4 with OpenShot yesterday, and I also can confirm the problem with MTS / M2TS files having black/white frames at the end were fixed.
To fix this, you can download MLT source, or use a script that does this like: http://mltframework.org/twiki/bin/view/MLT/BuildScripts Then you'd have to either run OpenShot from the newly build folder, or do as I did and create a symbolic link from /usr/bin/melt to the 0.7.4 version of melt. Then use the ordinary OpenShot available from the Ubuntu Program Central. I think this bug can be marked as "solved", or are there a way to force OpenShot to use MLT => 0.7.4 when installing from the Ubuntu Program Central that should be applied to OpenShot before this bug should be marked solved?
