FYI Still happening... Attached please find the following screenshots of my test install on VMWARE. 1) "Install Welcome" shows only half the welcome screen displayed. 2) "Prepare Install" shows the 'Next' / 'Continue' buttons not visible 3) "instal Work Around" shows the solution I used (selected System Settings from the power icon) but first time users might not think to try that

It was my _only_ option for some reason (will probably file a bug on that, too). But I was exploring, and decided to check out the installer for Ubuntu. Well, the only thing I could see was that it was experimental.
