I had this error today for the first time. I had never used a PIN, but I know that my network comes up really slow - I don't know why. Had to adjust welcome screen/frontend somewhere to be more relaxed about not reaching the backend; can not remember where it was. Backend/Main Frontend is on the same machine, but I can not use loopback address, because I additionally use some Frontends in the LAN. If the error comes again, I will report here.
