It is impossible to OS to give you a message when you erase your file in the file manager like OS doesn't run at this moment. When you run it you have a message but it is too late. OS works like others Video Editor no-linear. Followin me, I will be attempt to mark it like invalid, I put in Triaged section.

Click file->export video. Select same folder as source file. Name the exported file name the same as the source file. select same file format as the source file Click export video. The source file is overwritten. Final exported file is also black screen video with flickering white spots. Just to make the program more robust-userfriendly, probably be nice to not enable the user to export to the same source file. It's not critical, but if it happens to an unsuspecting new user who doesnt have a copy of his source project file, it would result in bad experience. One reason why user might want to save to the same filename, is for example editing a single video clip. (expecting it to behave like a word processor, where overwriting means saving the last instance of the file) If a user knew what would happen (exporting still needs to read from the original file which is being overwritten to), no one would want to do that.
