can't get that issue with recent chromium on Vivid nor Utopic; so
closing it.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: chromium-browser
1) Hover a webpage element to make a tool tip appear.
2) Hold down ctrl+alt (tool tip disappear)
3) Press right or left arrow key to switch desktop (tool tip reappear)
4) Release all buttons
Tool tip stays visible until chromium receives focus again or the
pointer is moved over the tool tip.
This dose also happen with packages from the beta channel PPA (Lucid).
This doesn't happen on Xubuntu (Maverick)
