Thanks for reporting.

Both typos ("od" and "not") in the description has been fixed in Debian,
and debian-science 1.7ubuntu1 has been merged to Ubuntu bionic. (See
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian-science/1.7ubuntu1 for
details and descriptions) Will be part of Ubuntu 18.04, so I believe
this can be marked as fix released.

** Package changed: debian => debian-science (Debian)

** Changed in: debian-science (Ubuntu)
       Status: Confirmed => Fix Released

** Changed in: ddtp-ubuntu
       Status: Triaged => Fix Released

  Package: science-engineering
  Version: 1.4ubuntu9

  The package description contains a small typo:
   Please not that there is an additional package engineering-dev
   which depends from packages which are useful to develop engineering
   related software.
  "not" should be replaced by "note":
   Please note that there is an additional package engineering-dev
   which depends from packages which are useful to develop engineering
   related software.
