Thanks for reporting. Both typos ("od" and "not") in the description has been fixed in Debian, and debian-science 1.7ubuntu1 has been merged to Ubuntu bionic. (See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian-science/1.7ubuntu1 for details and descriptions) Will be part of Ubuntu 18.04, so I believe this can be marked as fix released.
