I haven't heard of anyone trying to use the USB portion of this device
on Linux before, but you might try sniffing the Windows USB connection
to get enough information to get a usb-serial type driver up and
running. Much like the Visor driver works. Then you can use the same
userspace programs as the people using the serial devices are.
If you need any help with the usb-serial type driver, feel free to ask.
