Most of the parameters of the old setting are ok for me. But HSB and HSS
at subaddress 0x06 and 0x07
in the saa7111a don't match for PAL - the data stream often hangs. I
have modified the saa7111-new.c in that way, that you can adjust HSB by
tuning HUE and HSS by tuning the color saturation with your video
application.
First find the best HSB, it moves the picture in horizontal direction.
Then a good value for HSS should be HSB - 12. The values are written to
/var/log/messages. Load the usbvision driver with debug=0 to disable
the output of many other procedures.

My favourite value are HSB = -20 and HSS = -32. Maybe you can live with
this values and adjust your 
horizontal setting by changing value[4] and [5] in usbvision_set_input.
In PAL mode just even values work correct. I don't know why. Is it the
same in NTSC mode.
