Well, it looked like, but without usbdevfs in the /etc/fstab and with the
scanner turned off it still happens.
I finally put out the fstab line for my compact flash reader so that
NO usb device is probed for CDROM.
But this CANNOT be the solution, something must be very weird with the
usb here!
Anybody is interested in debugging/helping me?
