Hi,
I'm pleased to announce the first release of this driver for Linux. This patch
is against the cvs version.
The Foxconn HH501 USB Smartmedia reader uses the EzUSB chip from Anchorchips
(http://www.anchorchips.com). This is a microcontroller which can be program. It
has to a chips made by Carry (http://www.carry.com/tw ?)
To use this driver, you need to use a firmware. This firmware can extract from
the windows driver, or boot under Windows then reboot under Linux. You can find
the driver hh501.hex to use with ezdownload at
http://download.alcove-labs.org/addons/hh501/hh501.hex
My driver declare a new scsi device like the sddr09 or other storage driver.
This is my first attemp to write a usb driver. I have no documentation about the
device and the protocol use by the device, so use this driver without any
warranty.
