I agree that difference between USBDI as driver infrastructure and USBDI as a
driver isn't worth worrying about :)

http://at76c503a.sourceforge.net has the firmware downloader (with some extra
code for the particular device), although the bonus stuff is quite well
seperated from the spec stuff. We didn't, however, implement the upload stuff.
Nor did we copy out that obscurity of a checksum routine :)
