Yes. Just pulled apart the adapter and verified the chipset: ScanLogic SL11R-IDE 9951SQFP-1.2 K004 Japan This version does NOT operate without the FIX_INQUIRY option or the one-line workaround that Rene found. My guess is that other versions of the SL11R will work with the FIX_INQUIRY option as well. Matt, can you please apply the patch (previously sent to USB-Devel)? It would be nice to have this go into the next kernel sync.
