I just did ... it worked for me, all three USB 1.1 drivers.
And fullspeed devices continued to work too ... :)

the oops went away. I knew it had to be something simple,
that someone else would run into and find a fix for ... so I can
upgrade to 2.5.3-pre4 in relative safety!
