Few weeks ago I had the kernel 2.4.17 installed. I don't know how to deal with patches in a secure way, so I took a complete final package. The error mentioned was gone immediately. And after I found out how perfectly written and especialy commented Usb-skeleton.c is, I made it within few hours to establish a bulk connection. Thank You very much! Siegfried. BTW: Regarding USB1.1. Will kernel 2.4.18 do it all?
